365 Indexer Enterprise allows SharePoint & OneNote to be searched in dtSearch Desktop/Network without tenant wide permissions and without giving users admin rights. IT admin approves exact sites and nothing is ever changed in Microsoft 365.

How it works

• IT registers the app and lists approved sites in a SharePoint list
• Users install it and add their Microsoft account
• Indexes built on a schedule are searched in dtSearch Desktop/Network.

• Separate certificate for each installation, stored in Windows certificate store.

Microsoft Licenses

365 Indexer works with any Microsoft 365 plan – you do not need an E3, E5 or Purview add-on license. 365 Indexer gives users fast desktop search of SharePoint and OneNote content with dtSearch’s hit-highlighting, field searching and support for all common file formats, including non-Microsoft file formats, and all of the advanced search and reporting options built into dtSearch Desktop/Network.

Localization:

The UI shows automatically in the users Windows language or users choose or set centrally by IT. admin..(Currently includes French, German, Spanish, Russian, Chinese (i.e. All official UN languages apart from Arabic – contact us if Arabic or other languages are required).

Languages can also be added or edited by means of an external .lang file to translate all visible text into any language supported by Unicode. FREE Language File Editor

Annual license covers installation up to the number of licensed dtSearch Desktop/Network users:

365i-25E $1895/year for 1 to 25 user
license. If your dtSearch license is beyond the one year included support add $72 per user up to 24 users, or $60 per user for 25 to 50 users.

30-day trial

Includes a 30-day free trial for a single install. Indexes can be searched by the number of dtSearch Desktop/Network licensed users

Must be installed on the same machine as a licensed dtSearch Desktop/Network 2024.01 or later, and be within your initial one-year support period or you have purchased an upgrade and are within your current support period.

Pricing is non-concurrent: e.g., the 365i-25E license covers up to 25 machines in a single organization with the software running either in a shared network environment or separately for each end-user (e.g., for laptops).
